【開催報告】国際エネルギー機関・地熱部門（IEA Geothermal）Surface Geothermal Technologyワークショップ

JOGMECは、国際エネルギー機関・地熱部門と共同で、2023年10月6日、国内外の地熱専門家を対象とした地熱プラント地上設備技術に関する「地熱ワークショップ」を開催しました。
JOGMECは、2023年10月6日に、国際エネルギー機関・地熱部門（以下「IEA Geothermal」という。）と共同で、国内外の地熱専門家を対象とした「地熱ワークショップ」を、神奈川県横浜市のパシフィコ横浜で開催しました。これは、10月3日～10月5日に開かれたIEA Geothermalの執行委員会に合わせて開催したもので、地熱利用に関する国際的な技術交流による国内外の地熱利用促進を目的としています。なお、JOGMECは2013年よりIEA Geothermalの日本代表を務めています。
本ワークショップでは、”Maximizing Heat and Electricity, Minimizing Environmental Impact”というテーマに沿って、地熱プラント地上設備の最新技術動向について、欧州をはじめとした海外および国内の地熱専門家が9件の講演を行いました。各講演では、発電量や熱供給量を最大限にしつつ、環境負荷を最小限にするための技術開発や実プラントにおける事例の紹介がありました。
本ワークショップには、エネルギー開発関連企業や研究機関など様々な業界・業種から総勢58名（国内43名、海外15名）が参加し、各講演後には講演者と参加者との活発な質疑応答が繰り広げられました。当日の講演資料や地熱ワークショップの様子は、JOGMECの「地熱資源情報」サイト（注）にて順次公開してまいります。
また、地熱ワークショップの後には、講演者と参加者間の技術・知識交流及び関係強化を目的とした意見交換会を行い、盛会のうちに幕を閉じました。
JOGMECは、今後もセミナーやワークショップなどの催しを通じて、本邦民間企業等の地熱資源開発に有益な情報を提供してまいります。
